The Night Ministry

If you don’t have a cell phone or computer, life can be challenging and even more so if you are homeless or facing poverty.  Throw in transportation barriers for accessing a drug store or a healthcare provider and securing a Covid-19 vaccine can be daunting. Homeless youth often couch surf living place to place putting them and those around them at greater risk for contracting and spreading Covid. Step in The Night Ministry. Taking to the streets as it always does, The Night Ministry draws on 30 years of providing healthcare, housing and connection to the poor and homeless. These are people who are most vulnerable to poor health. 500 doses of vaccines have been given so far as part of its nightly street travel to serve those in need.
